We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Drone Pesticide Mixer and Handler to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and effective application of pesticides through our advanced drone systems to help farmers protect their crops and maximize yields.
Job Description:
As a Drone Pesticide Mixer and Handler, you will be responsible for preparing and handling pesticide mixtures for aerial application, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. You will work closely with our drone operators and agricultural teams to ensure precise and effective pesticide application in the field. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines technical knowledge with fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pesticide Mixing: Accurately measure and mix pesticide products according to specified formulations for drone application.
- Drone Loading & Handling: Safely load pesticide mixtures into drones, ensuring no spills or contamination. Handle and operate drones for pesticide application.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations related to pesticide handling, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe pesticide disposal.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain drone and pesticide application equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and safely.
- Record-Keeping: Keep accurate logs of pesticide usage, drone flight times, and other relevant data for reporting and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in pesticide handling, agricultural operations, or drone technology is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Comfort with operating and maintaining drones and related equipment. Basic understanding of pesticide types and application methods.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in mixing pesticides and monitoring drone operations is critical for safety and effectiveness.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift/move equipment as required.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and report any issues during operations.
